Malinda has more than 20 years of experience in business strategy and technology. She has served as a Strategist at Google, and Sr. Partner at WPP where she founded and led their consulting organization and the Product Management and Technology group. ​

She specializes in business resiliency planning, communications technologies, product management, and technology operations. She has advised clients such as Procter and Gamble, General Electric, Volkswagen, and Walmart, as well as hundreds of startups. She’s also a board member at the Maine Venture Fund and the Mitchell Institute, and a mentor with Techstars, MassChallenge, and Maine Center for Entrepreneurs. She’s an avid skier and scuba diver, and a certified yoga teacher.​

Nancy has over 25 years of experience in the technology sector, leading and scaling services organizations to deliver exceptional results. She was instrumental in building and managing the professional services and project management teams at Blue Mantis and served as VP of Operations at a software company. Nancy brings extensive knowledge in partnerships, operations, professional services and managed services, and managing fast-growing companies.

Outside of work, she enjoys visiting the beach, culinary explorations, and embarking on new adventures with her two college-age children.

Brian has more than 30 years of experience building, scaling, and optimizing complex technology ecosystems across global enterprises and startups. He has held senior leadership roles including Head of Global Systems Engineering at HGST/Western Digital and Global Architect at VMware, where he drove major infrastructure and cloud transformations worldwide.

Brian’s core expertise spans cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, hybrid and multi-cloud architecture, data management, and data science platforms. As a founder and executive leader of multiple tech ventures, he brings a strategic mindset and deep technical acumen to every stage of growth.

Brian is an avid scuba diver, fisherman, and outdoorsman.

Deb McCann is an accomplished finance and business intelligence leader with deep expertise in advanced financial operations and reporting, and corporate-wide budgeting. As Vice President of Finance and Business Intelligence, she leads Uprise’s finance department, data-driven performance strategy, and business intelligence efforts—focusing on metrics that drive the success of the company’s business technology services.

Formerly a Director of Business Intelligence & Finance, and Controller for a $200M cloud and managed IT services provider, Deb streamlined financial operations, improved forecasting models, and supported rapid growth. Her work consistently empowers executive leaders with actionable financial insights that guide strategic planning and decision-making, and shape impactful business outcomes.

Deb holds a BS in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in Information Sciences & Business Analytics from the University of New Hampshire.

Kyle Peterson is the Senior Director of Services at Uprise Partners. He’s responsible for new customer experience and services operations. He works with customers on Chief Information Officer advisory and has optimized IT environments for hundreds of customers. He specializes in email security, security compliance, and disaster recovery.

In his free time, you can find Kyle at the movies or cheering on his favorite baseball and football teams.

As Sr. Director of Business Development at Uprise Partners, Nate works closely with small and mid-sized business leaders to understand their goals and challenges while guiding them on how Uprise’s services can help them reach their technical and organizational objectives. Before joining Uprise, he built a proven track record in sales leadership as a top performer, consistently exceeding growth targets and expanding into new markets through a consultative, relationship-driven approach.

Nate holds a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Southern Maine. Outside of work, he enjoys long trail runs, hiking, and spending time with his family and dog.

As Senior Director of Marketing, Elizabeth leads Uprise Partners’ marketing initiatives and content strategy to strengthen brand awareness and drive stakeholder engagement.

Leveraging more than 20 years of communications and digital marketing experience, she helps organizations connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. Elizabeth specializes in technical product positioning and messaging, with a strong track record of creating successful go-to-market campaigns in the cybersecurity and managed IT services space. Her background also includes collaborating with executive management teams on mission-critical, time-sensitive initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, crisis communications, product launches, and strategic public relations.

Elizabeth earned her bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh (her hometown) and her master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. She enjoys listening to history podcasts, watching sci-fi shows, and traveling with her husband and daughter.

As Senior Director of Managed Services, Tyler is responsible for strengthening the security and operational performance of client IT environments. He leads Uprise’s 24/7 service desk, ensuring clients receive fast, expert, tailored support for software, hardware, and network issues. Known for his collaborative leadership style, Tyler is committed to ensuring every client receives outstanding service to drive real, measurable business value.

With more than 15 years of experience in managed services and engineering roles in diverse operational environments, Tyler has led technical teams across MSP, civil, and electrical engineering organizations. With a rare blend of technical expertise and high-level strategic vision, he is as comfortable troubleshooting complex technical challenges as he is shaping long-term service strategy—an ability that has helped Uprise enhance systems, expand tool capabilities, and elevate the client experience.

Born and raised in Maine, he enjoys playing guitar, biking, and spending time in Maine’s great outdoors with his wife and two children.
